Being Judgmental

I got a short lesson in being overly judgmental just now.

There are a lot of workmen on the scaffolding outside my room wandering round and talking loudly to one another.

One shouted ,
"Oi, Gaz, look at that bird over there"

followed by appreciative grunts from his colleagues.

Just as I was tutting to myself in middle-class, moral outrage, another shouted
" 'sa kingfisher init?"
"no mate, 's'eron"

Readers of my blog I apologise to you for my lack of entries of late. I have been a busy bee, preparing slides for my forthcoming debut as a computer science lecturer and preparing myself for my first presentation at a conference, (in Brazil no-less!)

Not only have I neglected you, I come to you now, seeking help! The wonderful h is leaving the country on a covert mission to undermine the education of hundreds of foreign children and to send her off in a style that will make her miss dear old blighty, she is having a uniquely bizzare party. One of the many things that makes this party odd, is that all guests are required to go dressed as a superhero of their choice!

So I'm looking for costume ideas. Not just who to go as, but possibly how to make/aquire the costume.

I would quite like to look rather dashing... so maybe someone who wears a mask to conceal their secret identity?
